Our endoscopy unit is a fully equipped facility designed to perform modern diagnostic examinations of the gastrointestinal tract. The procedures are carried out by qualified specialists using modern equipment in comfortable and safe conditions.

At Agamed Hospital in Łódź we perform:

An endoscopic examination involves inserting a thin, flexible instrument with a camera into the digestive tract. This allows the doctor to carefully examine the inside of the organs, collect tissue samples for histopathological analysis, and, if necessary, begin treatment immediately, for example by removing polyps or stopping bleeding.

The examination can be performed without anesthesia or with anesthesia (short intravenous sedation). The decision is made together with the patient during the appointment booking. It is important to remember that after sedation you must not drive for 24 hours, and the presence of an accompanying person on the day of the examination is required.
